Corey Harrison, best known for appearing on the hit reality show Pawn Stars, is asking fans for financial help after a serious motorcycle accident left him with massive medical bills. The 42-year-old was injured in Mexico in January and suffered 11 broken ribs, a concussion, and facial injuries. According to reports, the situation became even more difficult when complications developed during his recovery. Because of the accident and hospitalization, Corey also missed the wedding of his father, Rick Harrison.
After spending about two weeks in a hospital, Corey decided to leave earlier than doctors recommended because the medical costs were quickly becoming overwhelming. While continuing his recovery at his home in Tulum, he suddenly began experiencing severe pain. A doctor was called to the house and treated him with IV fluids and morphine, but the situation soon took a frightening turn when his oxygen levels unexpectedly dropped.
Unable to afford returning to the original hospital, Corey’s friends helped move him to a more affordable medical facility. There, doctors performed three surgeries and kept him under observation for another 18 days. The extended treatment and surgeries dramatically increased his expenses, pushing his total medical bills to nearly $120,000.
Corey says the accident has drained his finances, leaving him with just $400 in his bank account after borrowing money from friends and family. To cope with the burden, he launched a GoFundMe campaign asking fans for support while he continues recovering. Although he still receives some small payments from Pawn Stars reruns, he is no longer actively part of the show. Meanwhile, his father Rick Harrison briefly commented on the situation, saying Corey is an adult and will handle his life in his own way. 💔
