A photograph of Melania Trump taken during French President Emmanuel Macron’s 2018 state visit to Washington has resurfaced online, and social media users are once again discussing her appearance. Rather than focusing on the diplomatic event itself, many comments have centered on how different she appears in the older image compared with more recent photographs.

Melania has faced years of public speculation about everything from her fashion choices to whether she has ever undergone cosmetic procedures. Because she has generally kept details about her personal life private, even small changes in photographs have often generated discussion and theories online.

In a 2016 interview with GQ, Melania directly addressed those rumors and denied having cosmetic work done. She said she had not made changes to her appearance and instead credited a healthy lifestyle and taking care of her skin and body.
